Top Photography Apps on Android in Portugal - Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, the photography app market in Portugal showed dynamic trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here, we examine the top five apps, with data provided by Sensor Tower.

ToonMe photo cartoon maker experienced a consistent rise in weekly revenue, peaking at around $185 in late April, before gradually declining to $77 by the end of June. Weekly downloads started at 11.6K at the beginning of April and steadily decreased to just 573 by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar declining pattern, starting from 14.2K and dropping to 2.7K.

For PixVerse: AI Video Generator, weekly revenue increased from $240 to $378 by the end of June. Downloads fluctuated, starting from 5.8K, dipping in early May, and then rising to 3.2K at quarter's end. Active users grew from 15.3K to a peak of 17.7K, ending the quarter at 16.3K.

Cartoonify Me – Toon Photos saw no revenue but maintained a steady increase in downloads, starting at 6.8K and closing the quarter at nearly 4K. Active users also rose, beginning at 3.5K and reaching 4.2K by the end of June.

X PhotoKit had minimal revenue activity, with a few peaks in early April. Downloads varied, initially at 5.2K, dropping mid-quarter, and then rebounding to 2.8K. Active users started at 10.5K, decreasing to 6.8K by the end of the quarter.

Lastly, UpFoto - AI Photo Enhancer showed modest revenue, peaking at $82 in mid-May. Downloads began at 8.9K, decreasing to 1.3K by June’s end. Active users mirrored this trend, starting at 10.1K and closing at 1.9K.
